Climate Elite Corp provides HVAC installation, repair, and maintenance services to homes and businesses in New York City, Queens, and the surrounding areas. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through climateelitecorp.com, how we use and protect it, and the choices available to you as a visitor or customer.

1. Information We Collect
We collect information in a few different ways, depending on how you interact with us.
● Information you give us directly. When you reach out through our contact form, call our office, message us on WhatsApp, or email us, we typically receive your name, phone number, email address, service address, and details about the HVAC issue or project you're asking about. If you become a customer, we also keep records related to the service performed — equipment installed, service dates, and any notes our technicians take for future visits.
● Information collected automatically. Like most websites, climateelitecorp.com collects some technical information automatically when you visit — your IP address, browser type, device information, and general activity on the site (pages viewed, time spent, referring links). This is collected through standard website analytics tools built into our hosting platform, Squarespace, and is used in aggregate to understand how people use our site.
● Information from third-party channels. If you contact us through Instagram, Facebook, or WhatsApp, those platforms provide us with the message content and the basic profile information you've made visible on them. Your use of those platforms is also governed by their own privacy policies (Meta's, for WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook).
We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13, and our services are directed at adults arranging HVAC work for a home or business.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:

● Schedule appointments and coordinate technician visits
● Communicate with you about an active or upcoming job, including confirmations and follow-ups
● Keep accurate service records for warranty, maintenance history, and future reference
● Send invoices and process payment for services rendered

● Meet our legal, tax, and contractual obligations
We don't use the information you share with us to send unsolicited marketing to third parties, and we don't sell your personal information to anyone.
3. Who We Share Information With
We keep the number of parties who see your information as small as possible. We may share it with:
● Our technicians and office staff, who need it to carry out and coordinate the work you've requested.
● Squarespace, which hosts our website and provides the contact form and basic site analytics. Squarespace processes this data on our behalf as our website provider — you can review their privacy practices at squarespace.com/privacy.
● Payment processors, if you pay for services online rather than by cash or check on site. We do not store full payment card numbers ourselves.
● Meta (WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook), if you choose to contact us through one of those channels.
● Government authorities or legal counsel, only if required by law, a subpoena, or a court order.
If Climate Elite Corp is ever acquired, merged, or restructured, customer information may transfer to the new ownership as part of that transaction, under the same protections described here.
4. Cookies
Our website, hosted through Squarespace, uses cookies to keep the site functioning properly and to give us basic visibility into traffic and performance. You can disable cookies through your browser settings at any time; doing so may affect how well parts of the site work, such as the contact form.
5. How We Protect Your Information
We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information you share with us, including:
● Secure (HTTPS) connections across the entire website
● Limiting access to customer records to the staff who need it to do their jobs
● Working with payment processors that meet PCI-DSS security standards
● Reviewing our security practices periodically as our business grows
Because Climate Elite Corp is based in Oakland Gardens, New York, our security practices are designed to meet the standard required under New York's SHIELD Act, which requires businesses handling the private information of New York residents to maintain reasonable safeguards. We apply this same standard to customers outside New York as well.
If a data breach affects your personal information, we will notify you in accordance with New York General Business Law §§ 899-aa and 899-bb, and with the equivalent laws of your state if you're located elsewhere.
6. Your Privacy Rights
New York does not currently have a broad consumer privacy law comparable to California's, but as a New York business, we're mindful of the protections that do apply here — particularly the SHIELD Act's security requirements and the state's breach-notification rules described above.
If you live in a state with its own comprehensive privacy law — for example California (CCPA/CPRA), Virginia (VCDPA), Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), or Utah (UCPA) — you may have additional rights such as the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your data. Climate Elite Corp does not sell personal information, so there's nothing to opt out of on that front — but we're glad to honor access, correction, and deletion requests regardless of where you live.
To make a request, email us at info@climateelitecorp.com with your name and the address associated with your service history so we can verify who we're talking to. We'll respond within a reasonable time, generally no more than 45 days.
7. How Long We Keep Your Information
We keep customer and service records for as long as you're an active customer, and for a reasonable period afterward in case of warranty claims, follow-up service, or tax and accounting requirements — typically up to seven years. Contact form submissions that don't lead to a service relationship are kept only as long as needed to respond to the inquiry.
8. Links to Other Sites
Our website and social pages may link out to manufacturer sites (Daikin, LG, Mitsubishi, and similar HVAC brands we install), WhatsApp, Instagram, or Facebook. Once you leave climateelitecorp.com, this policy no longer applies — those sites have their own privacy practices.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time as our services, tools, or the law change. The effective date at the top will always reflect the current version. If the changes are significant, we'll post a notice on this page.
